The Magazine Sessions 2016: Anthea Hamilton at Serpentine Sackler Gallery 

 

 

The Magazine Sessions invites artists to devise site-specific evenings of performance, where all aspects of the experience are considered.

 

Presented in collaboration with Fiorucci Art Trust and with the participation of The Magazine restaurant, the multi-disciplinary series concludes with a new immersive performance by Anthea Hamilton.

DRAF Studio – Throwing Balls At Night.

A Performance By Jacopo Miliani

 

 Artist Jacopo Miliani will be presenting a new performanceat DRAF Studio. Inspired by Jeux, a 1913 poème-dansé (‘danced poem’) created in collaboration between Claude Debussy, Sergei Diaghilev and Vaslav Nijinsky the performance re-imagines the ‘games’ through a mixture of gestures and attitudes created in collaboration with divaD Magnifique, Prince Maya Magnifique, Benjamin Milan and Eve Stainton.

Book Launch: Ben Rivers at Camden Arts Centre

 

Artist Ben Rivers will be in conversation with design and art collective åbäke and Sophie Williamson, Programme Curator: Exhibitions at Camden Arts Centre To launch his first monograph Ways of Worldmaking. 

 

The book has been made in conjunction with Rivers’ recent exhibition at Camden Arts Centre, Earth Needs More Magicians with new essays by writers Ed Halter, Melissa Gronland, Renee Gladman and Andréa Picard, alongside transcripts and research material.
