Director of Digital and Social Media
Are you a digital strategy expert? Ready to spearhead and oversee large-scale campaigns and projects? Interested in expanding your global cultural network?
We are recruting an experienced digital and social media professional with a track record of delivering multifaceted campaigns for a variety of clients. Experience in the cultural spehere is desireable but not essential. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the digital and social media team, delivering services across all clients

- Developing thoughtful social media strategies utilising data-driven insights
- Spearheading creative innovation and content ideas for valuable impact
Account Director / Senior Account Director / Associate Director
(Minimum 6 years experience)
This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual who has already made their mark on the industry to work in collaboration with the company Directors and be a driving force in client and team management. The job requires a team player who is highly organised in their approach, has an excellent understanding of the media with strong contacts, and a track record in establishing client relationships and delivering brilliant results. The candidate must have a strong experience of directing high-level cultural PR campaigns from strategic inception, and be an exceptional thinker who will bring in real gravitas and expertise to the company. A proven track record in leadership and an ability to train, guide and motivate a team made up of Managers and Executives is essential. A passion for visual arts and in depth knowledge of copywriting and brand strategies is required. Energy and enthusiasm are of paramount importance as the culture of the agency is fast-paced and ambitious. We work internationally and are particularly interest in candidates with experience of working in the Middle East.
Internship Programme
Our paid internship programme offers structured learning opportunities to support career development in the cultural sector. Successful applicants will spend six months working at Pelham across various teams in the agency, gaining an insight into the work of a leading international communications agency and its role in the art world. The opportunity includes a structured programme of training alongside work experience. Example tasks will include:
- Administration
- Writing, editing and proofing
- Research
- Managing press materials such as images, videos and releases
- Contributing to PowerPoint presentation decks and reports
- Media monitoring
- Working on specific client projects
Personal specification
