Communications internship programme

 Our internship programme offers structured learning opportunities to support career development in the cultural sector.  Successful applicants will spend six months working at Pelham, gaining an insight into the work of a leading international communications agency and its role in the art world. Tasks will include:

 

  • Writing, editing and proofing
  • Research
  • Admin
  • Managing press materials such as images, videos and releases
  • Contributing to PowerPoint presentation decks and reports
  • Contributing to whole company brainstorming sessions
  • Media monitoring
  • Working on specific client projects

 

We are proud to work with outstanding artists and arts organisations so candidates must have a proven interest in the arts and/or communications. An eye for detail is essential, alongside a talent for writing with honed spelling and grammatical skills. The role requires a confident individual who is highly organised in their approach and prepared to show initiative. Energy and enthusiasm are of paramount importance as the culture of the agency is fast paced.

 

Social media director

This is an opportunity for an experienced individual (8+ years) who has already made their mark on the industry to work in collaboration with the company directors and be the driving force of expanding social media department. The job requires a team player who is highly organised in their approach, is a top social strategist, mentor and has a track record in establishing client relationships and delivering brilliant results. The candidate must have a strong experience of directing high-level social media strategy and campaigns and be an exceptional thinker who will bring in real gravitas and expertise to the company. A proven track record in leadership and an ability to train, guide and motivate a team made up of managers and executives is essential. A passion for visual arts is required. Energy and enthusiasm are of paramount importance as the culture of the agency is fast-paced and ambitious.
